MOMMY DIARIES (Life at the Grocery Store!) Carmen Brown

So, last night I had to make a quick stop at the grocery store. Ok, take that back, none of my stops are ‘quick’. Having a baby changes that! When I was strolling down the baby aisle, I heard this woman just yelling at her kid. It was beyond obnoxious. First, I could not even understand half of what she was saying (aka trash). She was just drilling this little girl. I tried not to turn around and give her a ‘go to hell’ look, but after it kept going on I could not stop myself.

Now, why do people have to act like this in public? If this mother does this in public, then what does she act like at home? Oh, I don’t want to even imagine.

Anyway, just had to get that off my chest. I’m sure everyone has experienced this at some point, but now that I have a child - -ahhhhh - -it gets under my skin to know that people act like this. To that lady, give yourself a round of applause for mentally screwing up a 7 year old. You must be proud of yourself. Other than that, my week has been great! Alright, who’s ready for the weekend!!! Wheeeeee As always , make it a good one! Carmen Brown

I completely undrestand. I was at the store during the holidays and this mom was flippin out on this little kid. I told them (much to my mother's horror) someone should take her outside and whip her ass. Needless to say, my mother scooted us out of the store quickly! haha I can understand having the super snap with the children- I have 17 and 8 year old daughters and they torture each other horribly when we're in public. I then discreetly inform them that they're toast when we get in the car. That seems to have a better effect with kids then when you screaming like a loon!!! Carry on trying to be the advocate when you see people over reacting and on the verge of snapping- I do- plus I'm a nurse so I advocate for everyone that I think is getting treated unfairly. I'm very passionate about taking care of people who can't defend themselves. If anybody gives you any slack, I got your back!!! haha Anywho, take care! I tend to talk a lot so I'm sorry!!!
Best wishes & keep rockin,
Alicia
